About :: Sepia

    In 2003 a few friends decided to get together after work and "make some noise". Six years later (along with a few changes), Sepia is still working on that "Dream". Labeled by some as Post-Punk Folk Rock, Sepia pulls from a diverse set of influences spanning Blues, Rock, Punk, Metal, and Pop. Regardless of labels, the music is all unique and all Sepia.

    Sepia released their first single "Static" in June of 2007 on Quickstar Production's acoustic compilation Chill Out - the East Coast Edition - Volume 4. Sepia can also be heard at local open mics and coffeehouses in the Baltimore area always ready to put their original spin on straight-ahead acoustic rock.

    While touting "Acoustic" roots, Sepia has recently begun to explore new territory with their latest electrified  lineup consisting of Ryan Beckelman (Vox and Bass), Derek Falzoi (Drums) and Chris Gray (Guitar). Beck's "make you think" lyrics paired with loads of "stuck in your head" melodies make for a fine collection toe tappin' rawk.
